Traveling to Macao
Participants can travel to Macao by land, sea or air. You may take a direct flight to Macau International Airport from most major cities in Asia or to Hong Kong International Airport and transfer to Macau by Ferry or by Bus via Hongkong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge.

By Air

Major cities in most Asian countries have direct flights to Macau airport. Macau International Airport operates 24 hours a day, with many visitors entering the territory via numerous major cities around the region. Travellers from the EU or Americas may take a directy/connecting flight to Hong Kong International Airport, from where you may transfer to Macau by ferry or by Bus.

By Sea

If you are at Hong Kong Airport, you can transfer to Macao by ferry. Ferry services are available between Macao (Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and Taipa Ferry Terminal) and Hong Kong International Airport(Sky Pier inside HK airport, before exit HK immigration) . The travel time is about 1 hour.

By Land

The inauguration of Hong Kong- Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) allows tourists to enter Macao by vehicles. Tourists can take shuttle buses via HZMB to enter Macao from Hong Kong.
The shuttle bus provides service connecting Hong Kong and Macao ports.

Tourists may continue their journey by taxi or bus – routes 101X once arriving the Macao port.

Participants from mainland China can reach Gongbei Port or Hengqin Port in Zhuhai by high-speed rail and bus, from where you may walk through the checkpoints directly to enter Macao.

The conference will be held at: Mr & Mrs Lau Chor Tak Lecture Theatre, Anthony Lau Building (E4-G078), University of Macau, Taipa, Macao, China.

Public transportation arrangement for entering the campus is as follow:

By Taxi
Taxis are permitted to enter the campus and the taxi fares are based on a flag-down fare and the distance travelled.

By Public Bus
There are FOUR public buses connecting the campus and Macau peninsula/ Taipa. Including route number: 71, 72, 73, N6.

Below please find the table for your information. To reach the E4 Anthony Lau Building please get off at UM/ Central Teaching building station (澳大/中央教學樓) via 71, 72, 73, N6

Border Gate (Gongbei) 關閘 1. Take 3A, 10B or AP1, get off at Av1o De Maio (勞動節大馬路M219), and change to     bus 73.

2. Take 25, 25B, 3X, 3, get off at Praça de    Ferreira do Amaral (亞馬喇前地M172), and  change to bus 71 or 73.

Lotus Port 蓮花口岸 Take MT4, get off at Av Cidade Nova – Galaxy (新城大馬路/銀河T395), walk to the opposite stop, Av Cidade Nova – Venetian (新城大馬路/威尼斯人T394), and change to bus 72. Approx 15 min
Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal 外港客運碼頭 Take 3A, 10A, 10X, 28A or 32, get off at Praça de Ferreira do Amaral (亞馬喇前地M172) , and change to bus 71 or 73. Approx 20 min
Macau International Airport/ Taipa Ferry Terminal 澳門國際機場/凼仔客運碼頭 1.Take 51A, get off at Av Cidade Nova – Venetian (新城大馬路/威尼斯人T394), and change to bus 72.

2.Take MT4, get off at Av Cidade Nova – Galaxy (新城大馬路/銀河T395), walk to the opposite stop, Av Cidade Nova – Venetian, and change to bus 72(新城大馬路/威尼斯人T394).
